This very stately structure is the original Modesto High School building. This photograph was published in 1912 and used as an incentive to get people visiting the Panama-Pacific Exposition planned in 1915 in San Francisco to visit Modesto and make it their home. The structure was replaced by a more modern facility in the 1920s at 1st and H Streets, where the school still stands today. | ||
